I just finished reading through all of the stickys on this board and first of all, I'd like to say thank you. This forum is such a great resource for bully breed owners!
4 days ago my 2.5 year old AmStaff name Jax moved back in with me (flew him across the country from my parents house where he was living). I was in a living situation for about 9 months where I couldn't have him with me. Now, fortunately, I can.
He was thrilled to see me for the first time in 9 months. Everything was completely normal. 2 days p$#@! in his new home (a 2 br apt), when my girlfrinds mom said she was going out of town and needed us to watch her 3 year old lab/collie mix. He's a sweet dog, but we think he's about 90% blind. I was leery about watching the dog, and explained that Jax was still getting adjusted to his new home. After a little back and forth I agreed under the condition that we'd have them meet on a leash in a field behind our apt complex.
