United Airlines is finding out what happens when you cross man's best friend.
The airline is currently in hot water with numerous Twitter users – and dog lovers – after leaving a crated canine out in the pouring rain for over 30 minutes on the tarmac of a Houston airport, AOL reports.
The m$#@! found out about the wrongdoing through a Twitter photo posted by traveler Barbara Galletly. The photo, taken through a rainy window, shows a pet cage sitting abandoned amongst several planes. Galletly wrote along with the photo, "Evil United Airlines leaves dog on rainy cold runway for more than a half hour despite alerts to staff. "
The Twitter photo of the abandoned dog has received over 1,500 re-Tweets and has many saying they will be banning United from their future travel plans, as well as accusing the airline of animal cruelty and negligence. One of those to join the thousands expressing outrage online is "Chandelier" singer Sia.
