Greeting creative with Starmark Chew Ball

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I wanted to share this for anyone still looking for a long lasting chew toy. My boy loves his squeaker toys but they don't last very long. He doesn't care for any other type of toy unfortunately. I have to take his favorite rhino squeaker toy from him after a bit to keep it intact and for my sanity (oh, the squeaks!). but he also has a Starmark Treat Dispensing Chew Ball that has been indestructible. So I had an idea. I purchased some replacement squeakers and stuffed two of them inside the ball. It wasn't easy to stuff them through the openings but I managed. Results? He loves it!

He has to really bite down just right for it to squeak so there isn't the constant squeaking but it's enough to keep him motivated and interested in it. He chews away on it for 15-20 minutes, gives up, then goes right back to it. The important things are he cannot get the squeakers out (safety), has been unable to tear/rip the ball whatsoever, and it keeps him happy!

I emailed the company suggesting they make an official squeaker ball (they have the chew ball and a regular nontreat chew ball) but in the meantime, I decided to make my own! I don't think I'll be buying anymore squeaker toys for a while.
