Hey guys,
I adopted Hugo from a shelter almost a year ago, which is kinda crazy to think about, and we're still figuring some things out. One of them is he is very uhh "overly enthused" about meeting other dogs. If he sees another dog on a walk, or in a pet-friendly store, he wants to introduce himself immediately and very impolitely. He'll bounce around on the leash, nose to nose greeting, and is kinda oblivious to the corrections the other dog is throwing his way. Off leash, yeah, he is a little bit of a rough-and-tumble kinda guy when playing with dogs but he seems to behave better without the restriction of a 6ft leash.
I'm just wondering if you guys know personally any tips to help work on this or any literature that could be of help.
Thank you :)
