Fluid range of dog aggression

So I was thinking about the idea of dog aggression in general pit bull, bully, shelter mutts. The dogs that are called "pit bulls " on a shelter card or pet finder listing. I have had a few with different levels of dog tolerance, and I am curious, as a cross section of owners, among people who are educated and aware of the genetic predispositions these dogs may have, what levels of dog tolerance or intolerance our dogs have. Also curious about the same issue among owners of amstaffs, apbts, etc of known heritage. Just looking for anecdotal stories about the spectrum of dog friendliness to dog aggression on this forum?
