Hiking our usual area again, October 22. She had the most fun she's had in forever, then at the end of our 6 mile hike ran into a barbed wire fence and needed 4 stitches:

I really wish the next 2 shots would have turned out better, if I would have had my wide angle lenses with me it may have been easier hitting focus. Going back and forth over this muddy creek was like a game to her. She really got filthy.

Nov 11, we were finally able to get on a portion of our normal trail that has been inaccessible since spring due to flooding. That's because it is cold enough here that the sloughs have frozen over enough to walk on. -11c at the time, my hands were frozen afterwards because I didn't take warm enough gloves:
