A little background first: my Cuddles was rescued from the ditch near my house at about 2-3 weeks old. I bottle fed her for another 2-3 weeks.
She is now 2 years, 4 months and the vet said she was in perfect health last week at her annual. However, in the past several months she has developed a habit of nursing on her stuffed toys. First, she shreds and destroys the toy, then she brings it to bed and suckles on it. Kneads her paws and the whole 9 yards.
Is this anything to be concerned about, or just a developmental issue from never being truly weaned?
