My Pit Snack suddenly stopped liking my brother in law.
This dog likes every one, has never growled at anyone else and it has only been the in last 6 months that she doesn't like him. The first time she growled at him everyone blew it off that he was in his security uniform, but it has never been a issues before about uniforms, Nephew wears a cop uniform around her, people come in and out of our home with different work uniforms....never batted an eye at it.
Yesterday when he came over she was really upset, growling, barking, hackles up....never attempted to bite, or lunge but kept herself between myself and him. Now in my mind, the dog has great judgement (ie his not my favorite person), and maybe she is picking up on that, although she didn't in the past.
Now I was raised that a dog is a good judge of character, my dad kept a Maltese that he took to the office everyday, the dog's title was "credit manager" and if the dog didn't like you my dad would not give you a credit account, end of story. My brother in law is throwing out the typical "see I told you that pit would get mean, that's what they are" I would LOVE to hear all ya'lls opinion
