My friend has a pit bull mix who is unintentionally shredding his bed sheets to the point that it is a problem.
Personally, I feel that a dog should sleep in his own bed, but that is me.... and since this is a thing, do any of you have a solution for this? Is there a better sheet or sheet alternative that is still comfortable to sleep on but is less shredable?
In case it matters, his bed is queen sized and his boy does not have access to the bed during the day while he is at work. His boy is not a destructive dog... He is long out of the puppy stage so teething isn't an issue and he has plenty of toys, playtime, long walks, etc. The issue is just scratching at the bed before laying down or when moving at night. I think this is pretty common because my pits do this too (scratch around before lying down).
