I finally bought a back of Orijen yesterday (large breed puppy). It took me awhile to find a local distributor and I didn't want to pay to ship it. Wow! I can't believe the difference in the smell and texture of the kibble! I had used Diamond puppy, TOTW puppy, and Innova... all grain free. Now none of these are supposed be "bad" dog foods, but I am really impressed with what I see and smell with the Orijen. I can't keep his head out of the bag either! HA HA!
I wasn't happy with my dog's coat and I think he sheds a lot plus he has very soft stools. I am hoping for better health with the switch to Orijen.
How long do you think before I see a difference?
I don't see any feeding instructions on the bag. Do you think I should feed the same amount? He seems very hungry with feeding the same amount of the Orijen. Maybe a cup of smaller kibble is more than a cup of large kibble?
