Hi everyone, I took my 6 yr old male blue nose to the vet today because I noticed a soft lump on his back leg. The vet took a sample of the lump with a needle and said there were abnormalities with it so he needs to send out to have a cytology test completed to determine what if is. He mentioned mast cells and radiation and chemotherapy. I think I stopped processing what he was saying as I was in shock. So by tomorrow or the next day we should know more. It seems that this type of cancer (mast cell) is not uncommon with the breed. I would love any feedback that anyone may have if you have experienced this with your pitty. Thanks.
