Hello everyone, we have a one year old male pit. When he was younger he would get these bumps along his spine and lose his hair down his back and the base of his tail. The vet put him on antibiotics and steroids. The problem went away. They came back a month or so later. Then we were told possibly allergies. We changed his food, nothing. He is on heartwormer once a month and a monthly flea preventative. He was also diagnosed with separation anxiety. The bumps are back with hair loss and constant scratching. The bumps look to me like hives and they will ooze when he scratches and then scab over. Anyone else have this problem? He is going to the vet tomorrow but would like to know as much as I can before we go. Any suggestions?
Possible skin conditions?
