Backpacking for the first time *photodump*

In preparation for a few weekend backpacking trips I have planned for spring, I bought a backpack for Axel so that he can carry things and lighten my load. This was his first time backpacking with full bladders in each side, I plan to work up to full bladders, gloves, and snacks in each side which still won't weigh a lot, but it's enough to make me happy I won't be carrying it.



Plus, he's pretty cute in his pack



At first he tried to shake it off, but he got used to it pretty fast-
