Hello,
i moved to Texas in November with my daughter and we adopted a wonderful pitbull mix that we named Maggie. She is so gentle and playful and just so darn cute. Now I have to go back home to Ontario, as my daughter was home sick so she went home to live with my sister while I finish my contract here. I am reading all the horrible possibilities that my precious animal could be taken from me and EUTHANISED! It is so distressing. Could I get away with having my dog in a rural area in Ontario? I'm willing to muzzle her (if I absolutley have to because she has never made a move to bite anyone). What if I cross through Quebec? I have all the appropriate papers etc for her. I can't imagine some border worker arbitrarily deciding my dog is a risk and KILLING HER. It's insane. Anyone with some updated advice or somewhere I can phone to ask someone...would be very helpful. Thank you all so much.
