Hello again all,
I have been reading the threads for days and I have found quite a few answers, but I still have a few questions.
First...tails...can someone point me in a direction of a good video of PB tails in motion and deciphering them? It is day 5 with the new dog (10 months). Whenever she plays with Tigger (3 years) her tail is high and curved. From what I am reading this is showing dominance? Right? Her resting tail is pretty high tho..pretty much straight with her spine with a curve up. So am I reading to much into it? They take turns lying on their backs and pretty much just lay on the floor and do the mouth back and forth. They did however run and play in the yard today. Should I correct this? I do not want something to continue that is wrong. She also humped him twice today. Amazingly he let her, he normally hates when dogs do that to him. Normal puppy play or something to look into further? He does not treat her the same as his other dog friends, it's different, hard to describe though, pouting? Patience? Training her? Idk, it is just different.
Next...Tigger growls at her every morning. I actually started calling him Mr. Grumpy. When we let her out of crate, she is happy and puppy jumping and immediately runs over to see Tigger who is laying under the covers. He does a deep growl like I have never heard. This has happened 4 mornings in a row. I thought, obviously incorrectly, that he would stop when he got use to her. So, now, do I keep her away from him in the morn or do I try to correct his bratty behavior?
9 days left in this trial period with her and Tigger to figure out as much as I can.
Advice or direction or what should I read next??
Thanks!
