Quick Introduction and Question

Hello everyone, My name is P. Gamble and just bought my first dog, a pitbull obviously being on this site. Anyhow I love my pup to death. I've been around dogs my whole life. My family and everyone in my family has always had a dog. My sister however is the only sibling whos had pitbulls, but getting info from her is like getting info from the founder of the ASPCA, only with all the wrong answers..Though she drives me crazy with her answers, she means well and shes my sister. Anyway my puppy named Davinci was born on Christmas day, unfortunately was seperated from his mother at 3 weeks..I know I did a good job or the best I could considering.. I bought the pet store formula that simulates the milk that mom produces, though he didnt like that to much and stop drinking it all together.. I bought him Science Diet Active.. Its suppose to be one of the best puppy foods that has all the nutrients that young pup needs. One of the biggest mistakes I made was that I still have not gotten him his first Vac. shot and I know hes suppose to get it by the very latest 8 weeks.. Hes 6 days away from being 3 months and I feel horrible.. I am scheduling an appointment today to get him the shots he needs.. Do you know if the vet will strt him on the DHPP Shots because the time frame expired, or will he most likely give him his vac shot he shoul have received a month ago? Also when I first received my puppy he use to shake very badly.. It was scary, no one wants to see a 4 week old puppy shake the way he was. I looked it up on the web, and found that its somewhat common. Today he for the most part stopped shaking, though occasionally I will feel him shaking and trembling. Thankfully not as bad as he did.. He weighs about 18 pounds and is very healthy, in my opinion, though Im not a veterinarian. Hes very playful, happy, has lots of energy, and is in overall good shape, except for the shots and occasional tremble.. Any response to these questions would be greatly appreciated. Also he seems very clingy, which I don't care about that.. I love my dog more than most people (I know that sounds horrible, but I guess thats why they call dogs mans best friend, because their not judgemental, belligerent, arrogant, and the list goes on.. Their loving creatures who want nothing back but the same--I know that was quirky, but its the truth in my opinion)...
