Last week I noticed that my dog had a scab on the back of his head but didn't think much of it.
A few days later, I noticed another but $#@!umed that I just didn't see it before because it was much smaller and closer to his ear.
They both healed, but left bald spots where they were.
Earlier today, I noticed another scab in between his shoulder blades and now I'm getting concerned.
I've only had him since December but I've never seen this before. He's a 3 yo rescue and the shelter told me he's an APBT (thought I think he's a mix, maybe with some mastiff and/or boxer) and I've just recently heard that they're really prone to skin issues.
Is this normal or what? Does it need a vet or just a good grooming? Any advice is appreciated lol!
Also, sorry for the bad picture, it was hard to take while he's sleeping on the couch next to me haha. But that's the bald spot the first scab left! And it's looking much, much better than it did before!
