Sadie is our 50 lb pit mix, she is a street rescue and has fear issues coming out her ears, but honestly this is too much. We have a cat, 16 pounder also rescued off the street many years before Sadie, he is way cool and laid back, loves people other cats and dogs. He's an in and out cat, but when the weather turns colder he spends most of his time in the house lounging around.
Sadie is of course horribly jealous and she doesn't like him to come up to us to get petted and will actually herd him like she is a cattle dog. She will force him to walk as far away from us as possible. I guess he is spending too much time indoors and is getting too sassy and decided he had enough of her crap and started stalking her. He was kind of whipping his tail around and started coming towards her and gave this kind of low howl that usually means - I'm about to whup some $#@!. Dh and I were sitting on the couch and Sadie runs over to me and tries to hide behind my legs and her hair is up and she is shaking with her head down and her tail tucked. I just yelled no at the cat and he gave me one of those "whatever" looks and turned around.
But honestly, shaking and hiding? And of course in five minutes she was up and looking for him to see what he was doing and getting in his face again. My God it's like two kids stuck indoors on a snow day. He touched me - She looked at me. What a wimpy girl.
