Hi guys!
I'm Jodi. I used to be a animal shelter worker at my local SPCA, but it has been a couple years since I left. I guess that's where I first fell in love with the dogs they labeled 'pit bulls'. I'm guessing a fair percentage of them were just mutts with the apbt or am staff phenotypes, perhaps some am. bulldogs too, but I'm sure we got in some purebreds too. A lot of backyard breeder trash just liked to dump their dogs off at the shelter.
I eventually wound up adopting my own pit bull about 6months ago from NYC AC&C. It's your typical girl see dog on euthanasia list/girl drives 7hrs after working an overnight shift to NYC to rescue dog type of story. He was originally named Oreo but since I am not a fan of Oreo cookies I changed his name to Hugo.
He's about 1 1/2 now and aside from his desire to rip apart all the toys, fairly well behaved. I guess he can get an adolescent attitude with me from time to time but it's something we're working on.
Speaking of Hugo, here he is:

Okay, so that's his shelter photo but that's the one that captured my heart. I can upload more if you guys would like. :)
