Because he is basically neglecting it. My roommate's dog. I am not even going to go into all of the numerous, massive issues we are having with this POS and the way he is treating his dogs, but what I'm trying to do is get some kind of an idea about what this issue with her eyes/eyelids could be so I can bombard him with guilt tripping and hopefully get him to take the thing to a vet.
I personally think the dog should be euthanized for other reasons, but since it's still alive, she at the very least deserves to not be in physical pain.
Background info: her eyelids only began to look like this about 6-8 months ago, her fur has always been thin (since we began fostering her about 3 years ago) and her skin has always looked funky, so I believe she has some sort of allergy but this is not confirmed since he has never brought her to a vet (she was fully vetted before we brought her into foster.) I stole this photo from his Facebook this morning. He has since taken it down, he doesn't know I stole it.
Any help would be appreciated. I understand no one here is a vet. I'm just trying to do right by this dog.
