My sister asked me to take some Christmas photos of her with her boyfriend, 2 dogs and cat. It's been foggy here for a few days, the trees had a good coating of hoar frost so I was hoping things would turn out well. Unfortunately she pushed it right until the last 20 minutes before sunset. I barely got the group pictures done before lack of lighting became a battle (trying to get 3 animals to even kind of look at the camera is a nightmare). I really had to adjust my settings and do a lot of post processing to make these look ok. They kind of made me appreciate just how easy and how much fun Iris is to photograph. They spent most of their time just rolling in the snow or sitting like statues.
