Our 9 year old started out with $#@!/red swollen paws last week with bumps starting to form on her back, she also had an ear infection starting. Took her to vet, he said she had a yeast infection in her ears, gave her Enterderm topical. He scraped her feet and said she had a fungal infection and gave us Terbinafine 250mg x 1day and Keflex 250mg 2x day. She started getting worse yesterday with open blistering sores on all over her body, oozing $#@! discharge. She is still eating, drinking, peeing and pooping. Vet was closed yesterday and today for holiday. We plan on taking her back first thing tomorrow. We have been googling, researching.......are scared what is going on with her. She has had some allergy issues in the past, got into poison oak, etc. nothing like this, ever. Has anyone ever gone thru this with their dog? We have been putting betadine on her wounds, giving her Rimadyl for the pain and inflamation. Very concerned and confused. Thank you for any information you can share with us.
