raw skin under arm pits

Hello! I found a six month old intake female pit bull mix about six months ago (she is now spayed) and just love her! She is very sweet and always happy! I just noticed some raw spots under her armpits. I am thinking it may be allergies but wanted to see if you all may have any other ideas.
