Hi Everyone. Im hoping someone could help me out. I have an 11 year female pitbull. she started getting little knots or cysts under her skin about 5 or so years ago. they never bothered her. recently she started getting a new one on the side of her face. well in the matter of 2 weeks it was the size of a softball and is by her throat now. I took her to a vet and they put 2 needles in it to see anything other than blood would come out. only blood came out so they said it needs to be biopsied. They could not do that there. that was yesterday and now she seems like she is dying. her nose is hot, she wont eat, shes shaking, puking, diarrhea and she couldn't stand up. could sticking that cyst with needles be at made her sick? Has anyone ever dealt with this before? Im afraid to have it cut off. My cousin had her sister from a different litter that had the same kind of cyst on the back of her neck. He had it removed and she passed away shortly after. if its cancer would it grow that fast? Is she to old to go through surgery like that? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
