Hey guys...my puppy, Casper, seems to be sleeping an awful lot. He does play but tires easily. Is this normal? He's supposedly 9 weeks(born on 7/28) but the vet thinks he's much younger(6-7wks). He was 3.2lbs at his first vet visit last week. He's also not eating as much food as I figured he'd need. I portion out 1/2 cup of chicken and rice food(25% protein) for him to eat 3x daily and he's only eating about half that amount. When he is awake he's bright eyed and bushy tailed LOL. I've never had a puppy this young so maybe it's just me being paranoid? My husband suggested he's basically like a newborn baby, eats, sleep, poops and that's about it, although he too has never had a puppy this young(we've always adopted adult dogs.). I can take him to the vet of course but I just wanted some opinions before I do that. Thank you!
