Hello my name is Britney I have lived in Phoenix Arizona my entire life lol. Im the owner of Shock-N-Aw Bullies and have only a few dogs but a few "partners" that are pretty close to our program. I Started with a APBT we rescued from the county pound when i was really little we named her princess , she was the best dog but extremely dog aggressive. I got my first Pit when i was in High school from a guy that had a litter out in front of his house showing them off to another potential buyer i loved the fat one out of the group and $20 later i had my first pit... He was my best friend and always went every where i went, long story short not knowing much about the breed back then i got a lot of recoil from people that would run the other way, pick up there kids or tell me that i was endangering there lives letting a pit bull around them... so i did a lot of research got some books and eventually online about the breed and it became my passion to prove these people wrong about my dog. I guess I took it personal that people were judging me and my dog because of its breed and would try to publicly be a good advocate. later on i had bought into the "blue" dog and got my first papered APBT which is now considered a American Bully he is the best dog i have owned looks like a bully but a APBT at heart. He actually was a little much for me to handle and i had to do something about it cause he (unknowing to me) was dominated my household. I found an amazing trainer that would help explain things to me and show me what i needed to do with a high energy confident dog. we just fell into doing sports with him because he was so easy with him, he did it all naturally and wanted to please me with everything we did. As he got older he developed a skin disorder (go figure) and would get worse with every break out and age. So we slowed down on the sports but not without achieving some pretty cool titles and doing some fun sports.
I now own the most titled American Bully (im being a little $#@!y about it i know) but he is an ABKC XL Grand Champion and 20 points from being a OBBA champion also we have tons of working titles with temperament titles too. I'm not like your typical American Bully Owner I believe that this breed should have and some still have more of a working tendencies to them just a lot of owners do not want to "work" nor are educated enough to do so. We dont breed hardly at all actually i personally only had one litter were non of the pups went back to the American Bully community but to friends. I still strive to do more sports and and further our capabilities with my dogs and changing not just the public eye but the fellow dog community eyes as well. anyways please check out my website for more pictures or what ever Shock*N*Aw Bullies - Shock*N*Aw Bullies contact me if you have any questions or want to talk!
