About 3 weeks ago, my 1 year old unnuetered pitbull male woke up and was acting just fine. About two hours after he woke up he began shaking in his rear end. Then his grandis bulbus the 'gland that holds the penis into the female' started to swell on and off. He then would not use his back legs. He put weight on his right leg but not his left at all. It was on a Sunday, & I could not afford to take him to the emergency veterinarian. There were no incidences of him getting hurt. He acted as though he was in serious pain and he was obviously very scared. Sometimes he will sleep in weird positions. I began to think that he may be pinched a nerve in his back because of the way his grand bulbous kept swelling and deswelling. He ate just fine that day went to the bathroom just fine have your nation was fine no stopping and starting. Everything was pretty much normal, except for the fact he would not use his left late. Of friend of mine has a blue pit as well. He brought it to my attention that his pitbull leg falls asleep everyone so awhile. He will act scared and as though use in pain. I wonder if any of you have ever experienced anything like this. I sure would appreciate some input on this matter. I called that, and the vet told me to bring him in the next time it happens. He acted completely normal that night after giving him a remedyl and making him rest all day. He has been neutered since and the incidence has not happened again. Thank you again for your replies and I hope to hear back from anybody as soon as possible concerning this matter.
