Hi all. I am new to the forum and I am hoping I can get some good input to my question. I am in the process of adopting a new male pit bull pup. I'm not sure if he's all pit or a mix, as the mom was abandon and nearly dead when my friend found her and rescued her. she had 9 pups and I am going to take one of the males, but was also considering taking a female as well. Can anyone tell me if it is a good idea or not to have litter mates ? I raised 2 rotties (one female, one male) that were not the same litter and they had 11/12 years of a great happy life together.. so I am experienced with having 2 big strong dogs.. but .. I just don't know if Pits from the same litter are a good idea or not. Anyone have any suggestions ? thanks !
