My 2 yr old Pit is on Meds for allergies for the 3rd time this year. My wife and i have finally decided to take him to a dermatologist to get some testing done. It breakes my heart beause he gets so uncomfortable with all the hives and itchyness... spreads to his ears and he gets infections in them as well...
We feed him taste of the wild FISH based formula and FISH based treats. He gets some bacon fat on his food as well as peanut butter for his treat when we leave. We discoverd long ago that poultry and beef do sit to well with him and also he cant have any grains.
Any pittie parents have similar issues... any suggestions or stories ?
We also recently tried coconut oil to help with his skin and such and it yielded some relief and then stopped working
