I have an almost 2 year old bull terrier who has been aggressive since about 5 months old. He's territorial, he's bit me several times. He's always had "play dates" with our friends Great Dane and the neighbors Rottweiler. We got another Bull Terrier puppy this year hoping that having another dog to play with would help him out. They play normal, running around the house and tug of war but as she's gotten older he attacks her almost on a daily basis. She is as sweet as sweet can be and sometimes he'll attack if she's trying to play, other times she might not even be near her. He took a chunk out of her ear a few months ago and then just this morning did it again. He's also aggressive towards people and bit my friend who was supposed to babysit him the minute he walked in the door. I took that as him being territorial and protective over me. But he will do this 'defensive' biting to just about anyone, even the vet. He attacks the dishwasher door, kitchen cabinets, the trash can, fridge door, growls at me when I put him in the tub, or try to get him in his kennel etc. He wears a shock collar almost all the time and he's bitten me even when he had that on. I rarely shock him, the warning beep is enough to make him stop biting at things. On walks he has to wear the collar and only my husband can walk him. My husband is the alpha male in the house and he even is aggressive towards him sometimes. He got my husbands ear one time trying to pick him up to get him in the bathtub. I'm at a loss and completely distraught because when he's good he really is a sweet boy. My dogs are like my children and I just don't understand why he's aggressive towards me who loves him the most. I would never in a million years want to put a dog down but I don't trust him. I feel like one day he's not going to stop when he attacks the puppy, or me... I need some advice. He's never seen a dog trainer. I have tried corrective training using treats with positive reinforcement and he's kennel trained.
My Bull Terrier attacks everything and I need help
