Does anyone have any recommendations for what to put down in muddy areas in the backyard? I read that straw is good, but has mixed reviews, as well as pine needles and shavings. I have a 1 yr old rescue, this is our 1st winter together, and I have some muddy areas in my back yard. I want to cover the mud up so she doesn't have to have her paws cleaned as much after going outside to play/potty. Any experience with this and direction would be greatly appreciated!
