Which Liver from Which Animal is the Best to Feed Your Pup?

jeudi 22 janvier 2015

So recently I have wanted to add liver to my 7 month olds feeding regiment. He is currently 33lbs. and in excellent shape and health as are his activity and stimulation levels. He currently eats 2-3 times a day depending on appetite.

His individual meals consist of; 1 to 1 1/2 cup of all white turkey breast (lightly cooked) sliced and diced up, half cup of Blue Wilderness Chicken Puppy kibble, 1 free range gr$#@! fed all beef frank sliced up, 2 tablespoons Deans Lowfat 1% Milkfat Cottage Cheese, 4 teaspoons of Alaskan Salmon Oil and 1 scoop (breakfast only) of NuPro (large breed) gravy formula.

3 nights a week he gets "special" meals. Monday and Friday he gets lightly cooked (rare) New York Strip 6oz (12oz cut in half) steaks and Wednesday nights he gets (cooked) 6oz Salmon Steaks with mixed and lightly cooked veggies with Deans cottage cheese on the side.

I have been wanting to add liver to his meals, specifically his special night meals. However I do not know which liver is the best for dogs and has the best source of nutrients. Rarity and / or price is not an object. I'm just simply looking for the absolute best liver for my growing pup.

Does anyone have any recommendations?
