Bought a new bag of dog treats and turned it over to the back of the package just now and this is what I read:
...we could all be better friends and caretakers if our daily philosophy matched our dogs:
Appreciate the simple pleasures of a long walk. (My dog enjoys his walks and hikes so much)
Stretch when you awake. (So true--every morning and after every nap my dog does these huge stetches)
Always run to greet loved ones who have been away (wouldn't it make us so happy if someone we cared about was this excited to see us?)
If you want something, dig until you find it. (I can picture the last time my dog was digging, the dirt stuck to his face all the way up to his eyes by the time I got him to stop).
Play every day. (adults don't do much actual playing do they?)
(My own thoughts are in parenthesis-this part was not on the bag! HA HA!)
