Our Frontline seems to not be working for Allie anymore in terms of fleas. We recently relocated from CT to TX. We gave her a vet checkup, a good bath, nail trim, dose of Heartgard and a dose of Frontline prior to us leaving, and stocked up on both as well. We've used Frontline for the entire time we've had her, no problems. Our neighbor's dog was infested with fleas and ticks, and Allie never had so much as a bite.
We've been here about a month now, and Allie has been suffering from numerous flea bites and fleas on her. We reapplied the Frontline about a week ago, and rather than seeing a decrease in fleas, we're seeing an increase in the amount of fleas and bites on her. She is incredibly itchy and her constant scratching is causing her to tear her skin open. We are also noticing that both cats are scratching a lot as well.
Anyone have any remedies/treatment ideas for us or dealt with something like this before? Thoughts, advice, etc welcome!
