Just Joined, Would like your opinion!

Hello everyone. My name is Alisha. I live just outside the small town of South Pittsburg, TN. My fiance and I own 5 dogs total, but 3 of them are pit bulls. South Pittsburg passed a city ordinance that banned pitbulls back in 2007. From the research I have done so far, the COUNTY that South Pittsburg is included in does not have a ban on any breeds. I am planning to step up for my love of the breed and try to petition the city of South Pittsburg to omit the ban of pitbulls. Does anyone know where I would even begin this process?
