Do you worry about your dogs paw/toe pads getting rough? I want to avoid them getting cracked and split. My pup walks about a mile most days on asphalt but other than that he is on gr$#@!. His paws seem rough to me. I might see a crack but I'm not sure. It's not open or sore looking.
What do you use on them, if anything to keep them healthy? And maybe rough is good as long as not cracked or sore... so maybe moisturizing them to keep them soft is not a good thing. My dog would lick off most moisturizers. He loves them.
