I have a 5 year old blue nose pit that I rescued when he was around 1 1/2 years old. He has been my best buddy since day one. Unfortunately, he has a huge skin problem. When I first got him he had welts and scabs the size of Texas all over his body. I have it calmed down enough to where he has no baldness or redness, but terribly itchy skin all over. He rubs walls, underneath legs, tables, carpet etc. I have tried multiple dog foods from blue buffalo salmon, Purina sensitive systems, science diet, Nutro. I gave him salmon oil, Benadryl, sprayed him with hydrocortisone, oatmeal bathes! I am at a loss for what I can do. I have had him for 3.5 years now and cant get this problem solved. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I am desperate for any advice! He is up to date on everything as well.
