Hey all! Im hoping someone will be able to help me. I'm currently living in nyc and have been traveling to mexico city for my husbands job. So far all of our trips have been less than a month so I leave my pitbull at my parents house. I just found out that our next trip will be for 2 months and I really want to bring him with us. I havent brought him till now because ive heard horror stories about peoples dogs dying on the plane and I think anything under 1 month is not worth the stress it might cause him. I know the carrier has to be big and I plan on getting him comfy with being in it before the trip. Im also aware of mexican laws regarding importing dogs. My fear aside from him possibly being stressed for the 5hr flight is that once we get to mexico city they might keep him for some bs reason. Anyone have experience with traveling internationl with their pet? Anyone ever traveled to mexico city with their pitbull? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
