Hey :) I'm new to this site but I'm looking for answers for my fur baby
I have a 2 1/2 year old pitbull named Gator, and he has HORRIBLE food allergies. Ive taken him to the vet and we have done antibiotics, skin scrapeings, vitamins, benadryl, other antihistamines, medicated shampoos, and I've tryed him on probably 20 different dog foods in his lifetime including prescription and every single one results in him itching, scratching, chewing, licking, hives all over, sometimes rashes, and last night he chewed his tail until it started bleeding. I'm at a loss for what to do. He has been on Orijen 6 fish for 13 weeks and is just horribly broken out!! I feel like I've done more research on dog food than I did in highschool and college combined! I picked up Wellness simple solutions turkey and potatoe this evening and just fed him some and instantly he broke out all over in hives and is itching! Ugh I don't know what to do and I feel absolutely horrible for him I know he's miserable!! If you have any advice please share I just don't know what to do, and I don't want him to have to live on steroid shots from the vet the rest of his life
