How many of you condition/expose/desensitize your dog(s) to typical human behavior that can actually result in a bite. Even the most stable dogs under the right circumstance can feel threatened due to how a person is positioned over the dog. I train every dog I own to desensitize them to hands coming in over the head, being touched while amped up, bending over the top of them in a manner that is a threat in dog language. I do this in an attempt to reduce the risk of any of them going for a bite should they feel threatened. Do any of you train for this?
Do you train to prevent bites?
