Hopefully I posted in the right section this time lol. So My pit is 3 months and is specializing at daycare and I spend everyday training her, because I have no job lol. She has been living with me and my parents for 6 weeks and now moving into an apartment with my friend who volunteers at the spca, so he is a dog lover. My question are should I take the dog over before to roam the place and check it out, or take the other route by training her tje living room is off limits for now. She is gonna be confined to a smaller kitchen area only and slowly give her more space. So any info will help, set up first and train to stay out of areas with baby gates or let her sniff around the whole place first then train that the kitchen is her area. Thanks guys
