We have an American bully named Leo. He is our baby and we've have him since 5 wks old. He is now 9months old and a big spoiled sweetheart. However, 2 wks ago a dog was hit by a car in front of our house and we rescued her. Her pelvic bone is broken and she has about 4 more weeks of healing ahead of her. So far so good. She is happy and for the most part healthy. Leo is allowed to visit her through a gate we have up and they sniff and visit, no one growls or gets upset. But my question is, when Lola is able to be out and not confined anymore, what is the best and safest way to make sure they get along and Leo doesn't hurt Lola. She's a lot smaller than him and is on his territory. But I do see he is getting used to visiting her and seeing her. I don't want Leo to feel less loved and want Lola to fit in and be safe. Any advice is appreciated :)
