Out of curiosity, when is it good to muzzle a dog? I can certainly see muzzling a questionable dog at the vet's, but vet visits are unavoidable circumstances. And I would work towards desensitizing the dog to the muzzle, so it doesn't become further stressed.
However, when it comes to training a stressed/nervous dog, if you need a muzzle, then you've already got a dog that's over threshold, so you're not training correctly anyway.
And, if you think a dog isn't going to pose a threat w/a muzzle on.....
