Winston Update: What Would You Do

jeudi 11 décembre 2014

Hopefully this is in the right place.

I was just informed by a friend that Winston ended up back at the rescue. This will be the 3rd home that has returned him, including myself.

Someone commented asking if he was good with cats, he is not. He chased and almost killed one in my yard. Their reply "He was in our house with 15 cats he did fine." He hasn't been in that house for 8-9 months and it was for one day, when he was scared, since they found him lost in the streets. He is not okay with cats once he adjusts to his home and I told them that. He has a high prey drive.

Then someone asked if he was good with kids, they answered "He hasn't been around kids." LIES! His second home returned him because he lashed out repeatedly at her grand kids and almost bit them! All the kids were doing was trying to sit with their grandma, she said they were bothering him as she doesn't allow pulling/poking of animals.

This is making me so mad. He either needs a proper vet exam and behviourist evaluation (a lady was more than willing to help them but they ruined their relationship with her) but they keep lying and collecting his fee over and over again

I wanna comment on the photo and tag all the people asking questions and answer them, or should I just leave it and let it run its course? What if he hurts someone? At least he ends up PTS, FIIIIIINALLY? Ugggggh. My heart breaks.
